I am not sure if it will be visible, but the sign at the bottom of the scaffolding says “Exterior restoration in progress”. I heard that the Gugg was a beautiful building, but all i can tell you is that the scaffolding looks pretty okay. There is currently an exhibit of Spanish art from Velasquez to Picasso. Not much by El Greco, but it’s still cool. The best part is the way they juxtaposed older, realist paintings next to more modern interpretations of the same subject. I am finally beginning to understand the crazy, crazy world = live in. Thanks, Gugg. Or Guggie, if I may call you that. It’s a wonderful day in NYC- I am going to go enjoy a stroll in Central Park. What a city, what a city.
