Seriously, I’m usually okay at finding out information on the internet, but I still have no idea what a cable is. I’m not alone:
At any rate, the recent release of something like 250,000 “cables” has caused a huge uproar in the US. Of course the question on my mind and every American’s mind: what the fuck is a cable? Seriously, why is no one asking this? Is that like, what, an email? An IM? Isn’t a cable like… morse code? So first of all, what’s a cable.
This seems like an appropriate thing to write about after only twitter updates for the past few months.
update: i read pretty much everything on slate, but somehow i missed this. I’m a moron. Also, i have a lot of studying to be doing.
