so today a few things happened. some people at work were clamouring for a rental car, because apparently they need it and they are afraid of walking around at night in st. louis. probably they should be. anyhow, i mention that i’ve been taking the bus and that it works pretty well and gets around most good parts of town, so we don’t really need a car. then apprently the boss agrees that the city is too dangerous and i am a psycho for taking the bus. then i was told i was allowed to expense certain cab rides around town. then they said we could get a cab! all because the fraidy cats couldn’t take a bus. so its actually kinda awesome, but i’m sad that whining and taking “risks” that aren’t really risks but normal ways to get around town was how we got our car. whining.

also, i went out and hung out with my sister’s friends friends who live in st. louis. it was a blast. way better than staying in a hotel all the time, and i got a free meal. sweet deal. i’ll be home soon.
