comments in blogs

so i just went to filter, my coffee shop and wrote a letter to my friend. and while i was there i saw a girl who i am pretty sure went to my university but it’s not like she was beautiful or anything so I didn’t talk to her. Not that her being beautiful would have meant I would have talked to her. It would have meant that I would have wanted to talk to her, but instead of not caring too much about knowing whether she was in fact an alumna, I would have just been intimidated by her hotness.

so unlike some people I don’t have a spell check with my blogging software, but I don’t let it bother me. Spelling is so passe in this day and age. The existence of spellcheck proves it. Spelling things correctly- and using correct grammar- is jus tto impress people by how smart you are. the real goal is communication, which only in really terrible situations, remains unaffected by spelling. since we have spell checkers almost across the board, we have agreed that it is no longer a thing of impressing people but of some stupid adherence to rules… and I am way to punk rock for that.

point is, i don’t see why my blog has to have a comments section. Hardly anyone reads this, the only way to get a link to it is through my instant messenger, and the 0 comments thing is just annoying. I know there aren’t, anyone who reads this assumes there aren’t, so whatever.
