so the big plan for this morning, unlike most omrnings, is that I am going to make pancake. Usually I would just go out for pancakes, out of laziness nd a desire to supress the growing pile of dirty dishes, but I think I could use the last of my milk and eggs, and pancakes are a hell of a way to do that. so.
so. last night i went to a friend’s apartment downtown and hung out on his balcony, looking at downtown and smoking cohibas. we were pretty classy. I had a small glass of wine, which is the first alcoholic drink I have had in a week. I went almost 7 days without alcohol or caffeine, which is fine. I think it was good cause I went to work and I went to bars with my friends and was able to stay awake and stay rad just the same. the only time I really noticed that I wanted coffee/beer was yesterday when I went to the diner and did not get coffee and when I atched baseball and did not drink beer.
yesterday I went to a garage sale, and I bought two cool end tables for my living room. I will take a picture. I don’t know if html tags work here, but we will find out.
so I got both of those tables for $5. I think that is a hell of a deal, seriously.
So tomorrow I have no idea what I am going to do with myself, I suppose I will spend it looking for a job and learning important skills that will make it easier for me to find said job. This whole working thing.. man. I should just start buying real estate and flipping it. Do a year long re-hab, flip a property and make 100K. OR a million, why limit myself.
So this morning- pancakes and coffee. I wish had decaf, cause I don’t need the caffeine, bu what can I do? I think I will go another week without drinking beer, but I might be able to have a glass of wine sometime this week. I am an adul, I can do whatever I want. I think it has been so long since I went vegetarian, I am now looking for even more arbitrary dietary restrictions that will eventually become somehow related to my vague ethics. Nutcase.
Final note- I don’t like Bright Eyes, but I heard him do a great version of the Daniel Johnston song “Devil Town”. Whew!
I didn’t mean to but I accidentally saw your new additions to your living room which I had been waiting to do until I came to Chicago next! The only crappy part of that admission is that (well for one, i can’t spell — but more importantly…) I haven’t actually read the weblog yet
BUTTTTT now I have so.. you know… can’t win ’em all.
Right, and I forgot, I LOVE THE ADDITIONS TO YOUR LIVING ROOM!!!!!
F’ing AWESOME DUDE
