so i have not really talked to anyone all day and this person just called me to do an opinion poll. so of course i did it. it was a girl and she had a nice voice, and, as pathetic as this is, i was kinda flirty with her, but you cant really blame me cause i have not talked to a girl in a long time. anyhow, i tried to brighten her day a little bit by talking and making jokes, but in the long run i figured i just made it more difficult for her to get through the interview because she kept having to repeat herself. i have had a couple beers and i had a beer while we were talking and she asked me whether i had had a beer in the last year and i just couldnt stop laughing cause i had beer in my mouth at that exact moment. anyhow, then she asked me if i knew what a lager was. i asked her if she mean tlager like beer or logger like a guy in the forest. she could not tell me, she just wanted to know if i knew what they were. luckily i know what both a lager and a logger are, so i replied in the affirmative. then she asked me whether a lager was just another word for beer, something else that i cant remember, or a drink similiar to beer but with more alcohol. as far as i know, a lager is a type of beer, but i started thinking maybe i dont know as much about beer as i think i do and maybe, linguistically and denotatively speaking, beer just refers to one specific drink, like a pilsner or something, so then i got all confused. i ended up replying that i thought a lager was just another word for beer, even though i really think that it is a specific genre, if you will, of beer. who knows. she asked me a lot of what my opinion was, but th equestion wouldnt be an opinion question but a right or wrong question. the freedom of religion is established in the -declaration of independence? -bill of rights? -emancipation proclaimation- none of the above? i hope i got that one right. then she wanted to know what percentage of the worlds population were christian. i guessed at 33%, cause she was inclduing both protestant and catholic. i figure like a billion are buddhist, a billion are hindu, something less than a billion are christian and a somewhat lesser amount are muslim. in retrospect i think 20% is a better guess. you do have all of latin america, essentially, about 2/3 of america, almost all of europe… who knows. i guess i could look it up but i would rather get another beer.
