training

i think the only reason the music i am listening to is at all relevent is.. well, if its relevent. for example, if tonight was some crazy night that in fact did open up my eyes, then maybe it would be interesting to know that i am listening to that song. but maybe thats the point or something, i’m suppposed to go change the music depending on what boring thing i am talking about.

anyhow, the boring thing i am talking about it twofold. well, two boring things. first of all, those of you in the world that care about madonna, i must say that she said something that is kinda rad. someone or some people are accusing her of being all conservative or something, and she’s pissed. they said that since she doesnt let her kids watch tv, she is like pat robertson or something. that may or may not be true, but she said, and this rules (and i’m not really quoting her verbatim) “not watching tv isn’t conservative. it’s actually very punk-rock.” this is awesome because I love madonna talking about what is punk-rock, and i’m not being sarcastic. it is also awesome because this quote was on the drudge report, and i love the idea that drudgereport had the words punk and rock together in the context that they were. drudge report is, for the record, not very punk rock.

so here’s the second boring thing. i am not in STL this week, nor next week. I am in St. Chuck, Illinoise for work training. So that’s something of a bummer, but its okay. I am glad I decided to come Sunday night and not Monday morning like I had originally planned. So anyhow, I took North Avenue west for about 30 miles, and then I was basically here. Thats something,. My room is super super tiny– about the size of my room from sophomore year in college, if that means anything to you. Except this room has a bathroom and a sink inside of it, which makes it better, but also even tinier. And the view is not of kenmore square, but of some trees. I prefer kenmore.

i don’t like brushing my teeth within three feet of my bed. Its just weird.
