I established a new rule at my house that all artwork from now on must be either original works or prints in runs smaller than 100 (signed and numbered). I’ve got a lot of good prints, and I don’t like them any less than I used to, but there’s only so much wallspace available, and I don’t want to become attached to a decent print when I could wait awhile longer, spend a lot more money, and be totally stoked (more intense than just attached) to a sweet painting. That said, I recently purchased
this painting. It’s a bad photo, but its a cool piece. I think it is untitled, but being above the dining room table, I like to call it “supper time.” (Being a bird and a worm, breakfast time might be more in keeping with the well known expression, though I seldom eat breakfast.
