dropping balls

so today is day nine. i didn’t report anything yesterday, because, as expected, i am getting bored of this diet and bored of this stupid blog. this totally isn’t a big deal. I mean, I really want good food now, I don’t think I will waste any more time on mediocre food. I want to go to an indian place and get sag paneer. it is delicious. anyhow. yesterday was also boring, but.. well Sunday I lost my wallet. I don’t know if I mentioned that on Sunday, though I doubt it cause i think i wrote in the morning. Anyhow, I spent all Sundy night tearing up my apartment looking for it, but to no avail. Yesterday I cancelled all of my credit cards and stuff, which is super annoying, cause now I am almost without money. I mean, I have it, but it’s a super hassle to get it. Word. I can’t imagine not having credit cards. I hardly ever have cash. Anyhow, the point is that last night someone rang my doorbell around nine or ten or eleven or something, and he was homeless. And he had my wallet.

Homeless man with my wallet. Awesome.

He told some weird story about how is friend found it, but I think he made up the story about the friend to cover the fact that he had taken all the cash out of it and my CTA card. Either way, all my credit cards were there, as were my license, social security card, and old BU ID and various business cards. Some people are concerned he may have written down my card numbers, but.. well, let’s just say this guy is 100% homeless and probably not going to go shopping on the internet. Plus they’re cancelled, so whatever.

Last note about him.. He smelled awful, but somehow familiar, but I couldn’t figure out why he smelled so bad, but.. so endearing. Then I figured it out. He smelled like 16 Glenville after a party. Like on Sunday morning. That place was kinda ruling. I miss it. I am going to new york weekend after next, so that should be fun. I want to quit my job and do web design and coke for a living. that would be sweet.

incidentally, this is only the second time I have written the word “radical” in my brettlog. Isn’t that odd?
